Catholic Foundation Joins Diocesan Volunteers at St. Joseph Festival
The Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of Scranton was proud to participate in the annual St. Joseph Festival, joining fellow diocesan staff members in a spirit of service and community support.
Executive Director Mark DiPippa volunteered as part of the festival’s popular “Lemonade Brigade,” helping prepare and serve fresh lemonade to festival attendees. Alongside colleagues from throughout the Diocese of Scranton, the team spent the day cutting, squeezing, and serving lemonade while supporting the mission of St. Joseph Center.

Mark DiPippa reflected on the experience, noting that the event represents the Foundation’s commitment to serving others and remaining actively involved in the communities it supports.
“This event is another example of how the Foundation is making an impact. Part of our mission is to serve others, and it is wonderful that we can spend time with colleagues and help the St. Joseph Center.”
Events such as the St. Joseph Festival provide meaningful opportunities for diocesan employees to work together in service while strengthening connections with organizations that make a positive impact throughout the region. The Catholic Foundation remains committed to supporting charitable efforts that reflect the values of faith, stewardship, and service.
