Catholic Foundation Executive Director Attends King’s College Red and Gold Gala
The Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of Scranton was pleased to be represented at the King’s College Red and Gold Gala, a signature annual event celebrating excellence, leadership, and service within the King’s College community.
Mark DiPippa, Executive Director of the Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of Scranton, attended the gala alongside clergy and diocesan colleagues, underscoring the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to supporting Catholic education, faith formation, and mission-driven initiatives throughout the Diocese of Scranton.
The evening provided an opportunity for fellowship, relationship-building, and shared celebration of the values that unite Catholic institutions across northeastern Pennsylvania. Pictured with Mr. DiPippa were several distinguished priests serving the Diocese of Scranton, including Reverend Michael J. Boris, assistant pastor at Holy Family Parish in Luzerne and Saint Ignatius Loyola Parish; Reverend Ryan P. Glenn, pastor of Christ the King Parish and Monsignor Neil J. Van Loon, V.F., pastor of Saint Paul Parish.

Also attending was Shannon Ruiz, Director of the Pontifical Mission Societies and Development Coordinator for Catholic Social Services, reflecting the collaborative spirit that strengthens the ministries and outreach efforts of the Diocese. Mr. DiPippa was joined by Joseph D. Strubeck, Secretary for Development for the Diocese of Scranton, further highlighting the shared mission of advancing stewardship and charitable support across diocesan ministries.
Events such as the Red and Gold Gala serve as meaningful reminders of the importance of partnership among Catholic institutions. Through these relationships, the Catholic Foundation continues its work of helping individuals and families align their charitable giving with their faith, supporting parishes, schools, and ministries that carry forward the Church’s mission.
The Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of Scranton is grateful for opportunities to engage with the wider Catholic community and congratulates King’s College on another successful and inspiring gala.
