University of Scranton Students Present “Faith in the Future, The Faith that Transforms and For Those Who Come After” Campaign Ideas to Catholic Foundation
Students from the University of Scranton recently presented comprehensive communications campaign ideas, “Faith in the Future, The Faith that Transforms and For Those Who Come After” to Executive Director Mark DiPippa at the Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of Scranton.
The campaigns were designed to strengthen awareness of the Catholic Foundation as a trusted and faith-centered avenue for charitable giving throughout the Diocese.
At the heart of the Faith in the Future presentation was a clear message: supporting the Catholic Foundation is about more than a financial gift—it is an opportunity to sustain the ministries of the Church and leave a lasting legacy of faith for future generations.
Faith in the Future team emphasized the importance of connecting with active parishioners through meaningful storytelling, clear communication, and outreach across both traditional and digital platforms. Their strategy highlighted the role of the Foundation in supporting vital ministries such as Catholic schools, social services, faith formation, and care for retired priests.
The students also underscored the strong sense of trust and community that motivates donors, noting that many faithful Catholics give because they feel called to serve and ensure the continued vitality of the Church.
The presentation offered thoughtful insights and practical recommendations to help the Catholic Foundation expand its reach and deepen engagement with parishioners across the Diocese.
Through collaborations like this, with the University of Scranton, the Catholic Foundation continues to inspire innovative approaches to stewardship—bringing together faith, generosity, and a shared vision for the future of the Church in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
