Executive Director Mark DiPippa Joins Catholic Men at Annual Conference
On October 4, 2025, Mark DiPippa, Executive Director of the Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of Scranton, attended the 10th Annual Be A Catholic Man Conference at Holy Redeemer High School in Wilkes-Barre. The event drew hundreds of Catholic men from across the Diocese for a day of spiritual enrichment, brotherhood, and renewal.
This year’s theme, “Christ Is King,” honored the 100th anniversary of Pope Pius XI’s establishment of the Feast of Christ the King. The conference emphasized the importance of living out the faith boldly in today’s world, with Christ at the center of every aspect of life.
Mr. DiPippa’s attendance highlighted the Catholic Foundation’s ongoing support for initiatives that strengthen the spiritual lives of Catholic men and promote leadership rooted in faith. “Events like this are vital,” DiPippa shared. “They help build stronger families, parishes, and communities by encouraging men to lead with faith and integrity. Our Foundation will only grow through the support of men like these!”
The conference featured inspiring talks from nationally recognized Catholic speakers:
- Mike Aquilina, author and theologian
- David Bereit, founder of 40 Days for Life
- Fr. Charles Connor, Church historian and diocesan priest
Participants also had the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation, spend time in Eucharistic Adoration, and celebrate Mass with Bishop Joseph C. Bambera.
The Catholic Foundation is proud to support events like the Be A Catholic Man Conference, which empower lay leaders and foster deeper engagement with the Church’s mission.
