Catholic Foundation and Diocese of Scranton Representatives Attend ICSC Conference in New Orleans

Representatives of the Catholic Foundation and Diocese of Scranton recently traveled to New Orleans to participate in the International Catholic Stewardship Council (ICSC) Conference, one of the nation’s premier gatherings dedicated to Catholic stewardship, development, fundraising, and donor engagement.

The annual ICSC Conference brings together Catholic professionals committed to advancing stewardship as a way of life rooted in gratitude, faith, and generosity. Through educational sessions, networking opportunities, and peer collaboration, participants gain valuable insights into strengthening donor relationships, enhancing fundraising efforts, and supporting the mission of the Church.

Representing the Diocese of Scranton and the Catholic Foundation, attendees engaged in discussions focused on emerging trends in Catholic philanthropy, endowment growth, planned giving, donor communications, and parish stewardship. The experience offered both practical tools and fresh perspectives that can be applied to support the ministries, parishes, schools, and charitable initiatives throughout the Diocese.

In addition to the educational opportunities, the conference fostered fellowship among Catholic leaders who share a common commitment to advancing the Church’s mission. The connections made and ideas exchanged will help strengthen future efforts to inspire generosity and encourage faithful stewardship throughout the Diocese of Scranton.

The Catholic Foundation remains committed to identifying innovative ways to serve donors and parishes while helping Catholics create lasting legacies of faith. Participation in events such as the ICSC Conference ensures that the Foundation continues to bring the latest stewardship resources and best practices back to the communities it serves.

As the Foundation looks ahead, the knowledge gained through this experience will support ongoing efforts to help donors fulfill their charitable intentions, strengthen Catholic ministries, and build a vibrant future for the Church in northeastern Pennsylvania.
