Catholic Foundation Strengthens Connections with the Catholic Community in the Williamsport Area
The Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of Scranton continues to expand its outreach throughout the Williamsport region by building relationships with local Catholic leaders who are helping strengthen parish life and foster vibrant faith communities.
Recently, Mark DiPippa, Executive Director of the Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of Scranton, met with Jesse Martin, a dedicated Catholic leader serving Lycoming County.
Jesse Martin is the founder of Lycoming Parish Neighbors, a local Catholic magazine dedicated to building up the Catholic community throughout Lycoming County. An active member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Ann Parish, Jesse has demonstrated a strong commitment to evangelization, fellowship, and Catholic engagement in the region.
Among his many initiatives, Jesse launched the First Annual Catholic Men’s Retreat for the Lycoming County area, providing an opportunity for men of faith to grow spiritually and deepen their relationship with Christ and His Church.
For parishioners in the Williamsport area, partnerships and conversations like these are important opportunities to strengthen the local Catholic community. By connecting with ministry leaders, parish volunteers, clergy, and faithful lay men and women, the Catholic Foundation gains insight into the needs of local parishes and ministries while identifying opportunities to support the Church for generations to come.
The Catholic Foundation offers opportunities for families and individuals to support Catholic ministries through charitable giving, endowment funds, estate planning, and legacy gifts. These resources help ensure that parishes, schools, vocations, and charitable ministries throughout the Diocese continue to thrive.
The Foundation looks forward to continuing its presence in Williamsport and throughout Lycoming County, working alongside local Catholic leaders to strengthen the faith, support parish communities, and advance the mission of the Church.
