Catholic Foundation Makes First Distribution

The Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of Scranton recently celebrated an important milestone by presenting a check to support diocesan seminarians during the annual Vocations Golf Tournament at Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club. This presentation marked the first distribution from the Foundation and it was fitting that it went to the Seminarian Endowment Fund, demonstrating the growing impact of faithful stewardship and charitable giving across the Diocese.

The Seminarian Endowment Fund was created to help provide long-term financial support for the education, formation, and preparation of young men discerning a vocation to the priesthood. Through endowed giving, generous donors can ensure that future seminarians receive the resources they need to answer God’s call and serve the faithful throughout the Diocese of Scranton for generations to come. This first distribution represents the beginning of a lasting legacy that will strengthen vocations and support the future of the Church.

Among those present for the check presentation were Father Alex Roche and Father Ryan Glenn, who joined the seminarians and Foundation representatives in celebrating this significant occasion.
