Catholic Foundation Visits People of Hope Museum

Mark DiPippa, Executive Director of the Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of Scranton, recently toured the People of Hope Museum in support of the vital work of Catholic Social Services and Catholic Charities.

This visit reflects the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to strengthening ministries that serve those most in need throughout the Diocese. The Catholic Foundation proudly maintains an endowment fund dedicated to Catholic Social Services, helping sustain their mission to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and uphold the dignity of every person.

During the visit, Foundation and diocesan leadership had the opportunity to experience the exhibit and reflect on the impact of these ministries across the region. The People of Hope Museum highlights the compassionate outreach of Catholic Social Services and the many individuals whose lives are transformed through acts of faith-filled service.

Pictured during the visit are representatives from the Diocese of Scranton and Catholic Social Services, including leadership and staff who work daily to advance this mission of hope and charity.

Through partnerships like these, the Catholic Foundation continues to serve as a steward of generosity—ensuring that resources entrusted by faithful donors provide lasting support for ministries that bring Christ’s love to those in need.

Supporting This Mission

Those who feel called to make a lasting difference are invited to prayerfully consider supporting the Catholic Social Services Endowment Fund. Gifts to the endowment provide enduring support for programs that care for our neighbors in need—today and for generations to come.

In the spirit of stewardship, even a modest gift can become a lasting expression of faith, helping to ensure that the Church’s mission of charity continues to flourish across our Diocese.
